SINDHULI, July 25: Three people are seriously hurt and the fourth one is in critical condition after a landslide buried them in Sindhuli today.

Binda Kumari Shrestha, Bishnu Prasad Koirala and Rupmani Magar have been injured when a landslide at local Karkarey, Kamalapul in Kamalamai Municipality-10 swept away the shop of one Moti Lal Shrestha, the District Police Office stated.

Two of the injured have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment after they could not be treated at the District Hospital. Koirala has been kept at the Orthopedic Hospital at Jorpati and Rupmani to the B&B Hospital in Kathmandu.

Preparations are being made to take Binda Kumari, who is in a critical condition, to Kathmandu on a Nepal Army helicopter. However, the helicopter has not been able to fly due to bad weather, it is stated.

Meanwhile, the Sindhuli-Bardibas section of the BP Highway, which was blocked since the morning due to a landslide, has been opened for traffic in the afternoon today. Precipitation is taking place at many places in Sindhuli over the last three days. RSS
