GORKHA, Feb 22: Three of a family were found dead inside their home at Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality-1 on Monday morning.
Chief of the Gorkha District Police Office, Surendra Gurung, confirmed that 84-year-old Til Bahadur Gurung, his daughter-in-law Aaita Kumari Gurung and his granddaughter 13-year-old Usha Gurung were found dead at their home.
The trio who went to bed after dinner last night were found dead inside their home this morning, according to Gurung.
"We can only share something after carrying out postmortem," he said.
The reason behind their death is yet to be ascertained, according to police. However, locals suspect that the deceased could have consumed wild mushroom.
A team of police from the District Police Office, Gorkha, is on its way to the incident site.
