Three new cases of cholera reported in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, July 1: Three more cholera cases were reported in the Kathmandu Valley today.

According to a bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population, cholera has been confirmed in 17 people in the Kathmandu Valley so far.

Joint Spokesperson for the ministry, Dr Sameer Kumar Adhikari said that 12 of the people who have contracted cholera are men and five are women while five of them are undergoing treatment currently.
