DHADING, Jan 13: Three people are missing in a landslide near Puru of Tipling, Ward 1 in Rubi Valley Rural Municipality of the district since last night. An excavator has also been buried by the landslide that occurred while constructing a road from Labdung to Lingjo. 

The incident site is a two-day trek from Dhading Besi, the district headquarters, and the road is being constructed to connect the remote areas.

Nepal Police personnel and locals are on their way to the incident site and additional information about the incident is awaited, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Jageshwor Bhandari of the District Police Office Dhading.

A search is on for the missing persons. Those missing in the incident are the excavator driver, his assistant and a local person, informed Nara Bahadur Ghale, a teacher based in Tipling.
