Three killed, one injured in a car accident in Rupandehi

BUTWAL, Aug 8: Three people were killed and one was injured in a car accident along the Bhairahawa-Parasi road section in Rupandehi district Friday night.

BUTWAL, Aug 8: Three people were killed and one was injured in a car accident along the Bhairahawa-Parasi road section in Rupandehi district Friday night.


The ill-fated car (Lu 2 Cha 6756) was on its way to Bhairahawa from Parasi when it met with the accident.


The deceased have been identified as Dhavendra Chaudhari, 27, of Siddharthanagar Municipality-4, Nausad Darji, 28, of Kothahemai Rural Municipality-3 and Pradi Thakur,12, of Ramgram Municipality.


According to the Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rupandehi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khadka Bahadur Khatri, the over-speeding car met with the accident after the driver lost control and the vehicle fell 50 meters down the road.


Similarly, Anil Yadav, 34, of Omsatiya- 4 was severely injured in the accident. He is currently undergoing treatment at Universal College of Medical Science in Bhairahawa.
