SYANGJA, Sept 5: Three persons died and 18 others sustained injuries when a jeep met with an accident at Kholsa in Galyang Municipality-3 of Syangja district on Wednesday.
The ill-fated jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3841) en route to Galyang from Rambha rural municipality-1, Hungi of Palpa fell some three hundred meters from the road, according to police.

The deceased have been identified as Palsan Pariyar, a child of Waling-13, Manju Gaire (24) of Waling-11, Syangja and Sita Nepali (72) of Rambha-1, Palpa.
According to Assistant Sub Inspector at Galyang Police Station Yamnath Bagale, the minor Pariyar died on the spot while two others breathed their last while undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College, Prabhas.
The injured passengers have been receiving treatment at Lumbini Medical College.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
