Three killed in blast

KATHMANDU, May 24: A cooking gas cylinder explosion killed three – including two minors – at Swayambhu, Kathmandu on Monday morning.



Those dead are Sita Nepali, 27, and her children, four-year-old Ramesh and one-year-old Ramila.



Sita´s family, permanent residents of Saipu VDC-3 in Ramechhap district, was living temporarily in the house of Dharma Ratna Shahi.



Four others -- Rudra Nepali, Geeta Bista, Dil Maya Lama and Bhisha Lama -- were injured in the accident. They are undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital.
