KATHMANDU, July 3: Three persons, including a bank employee of Agricultural Development Bank have been found involved in banking fraud. Central Investigation Bureau of the Nepal Police arrested them on the charge of hampering the bank by issuing 'Advance Payment Guarantee' by illegally using stamp, signature and letter pad of Agricultural Development Bank, Ratna Park.
The accused are bank staff Chhabilal Dhakal of Bhaktapur, Ranadhir Tumba of Mahalaxmi Municipality-7 and Dev Jung Shahi of Bajura district, currently living at Mahalaxmi Municipality, according to the Bureau.

Police said that Dhakal, the then section officer of the bank and who has now been suspended, along with Shahi and Tumba involved in banking fraud three years ago by issuing 'Advance Payment Guarantee' of Rs 10.1 million.
The necessary investigation against into the incident was underway at Patan High Court as per Banking Offence and Punishment Act-2064 BS, said Superintendent of Police at Bureau, Deepak Regmi.
