BANKE, Feb 15: Police have nabbed three persons with counterfeit notes worth Rs 500,000 in possession from Nepalgunj in Banke district on Tuesday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ram Prasad Gharti said that those arrested include Mohan Kumai, 33, of Kohalpur Municipality-11, Dipak BC, 37, of Turmakhand Rural Municipality-3 in Achham district and 30-year-old Mohan Rana of Bangand Kupinde Municipality-5 in Salyan district.
A special team of Nepal Police have also recovered a total of 569 fake notes of the denomination of Rs 1,000 from the three form New Road area of Nepalgunj city.
