Three held for ‘butchering cows’

MAKWANPUR, Jan 29: Police have arrested three people for their involvement in butchering cows and made them public on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, Makwanpur police rounded up Krishna Bahadur Gole, 54, Bijaya Kumar Nyashur, 18, and Subas Tuppa, 18, of Bakaiya Rural Municipality.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking them into custody.
