Three foreign tourists die in Mustang

BAGLUNG, Oct 25: Three foreign tourists have died in three separate incidents in Mustang on Thursday.



Eran Choen, an Israeli national, was drowned in the Kaligandaki River at the Jomsom village. He fell into the river from a wooden bridge over it. [break]



Likewise, an Austrian tourist named Joseph John died of heart attack at Ghara of Surkang, Basanta Ranjit, Mustang police chief said. He was spending the night there.



The other foreign tourist dead was Elke Heinig from Germany. He had fallen sick at Dhaulagiri base camp and died while being airlifted to the hospital, Ranjeet said.
