According to Navin Raj Rai, spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police, the police caught 46-year-old Buddhiman Tamang of Belbari Municipality-1, and two 18-year-old females - Jiya Rai and Sapana Tamang of Hile, Dhankuta - from Buddhiman’s house.
The police found 13 grams 540 milligrams of brown sugar hidden inside a storage room, Rai said. The police also found various used sim cards, eight sets of mobile phones, cash and a digital machine used to weigh the brown sugar, he added.
