KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Bagwati Shrestha of Kiriyapani, Byas Municipality-6, Tanahun was arrested along with three kilograms 400 grams of marijuana on Sunday evening. The District Police Office Tanahun had checked her home after they got information that Shrestha was hiding marijuana in her home.

Similarly, Narendra Pyakurel, 30, of Kattipur, Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-1, Kailali was arrested by the police along with 10 gram hashish and 39,400 rupees in cash on Monday night. After police found him creating ruckus after drinking, they frisked him and found the drugs and cash.

Likewise, Karan Rajbansi, 29 and two others were arrested from Mechinagar Municipality-10, Tikapur, Jhapa along with one gram 500 milligram of brown sugar on Monday night. A team of Area Police Office, Dhulabari arrested Rajbansi and further investigation is underway.
