Three arrested on charge of providing wrong information about PCR test result in Bheri Hospital

NEPALGUNJ, Nov 12: Police have arrested three employees of Bheri Hospital on the charge of providing wrong information about Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.


A team of District Police Office, Banke apprehended Health Assistant Bibek Adhikari, Security guard Bashudev Joshi and Bhadri Khanal, according to Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurungbang.

They have been accused of providing negative reports to one who tested positive and positive reports to one who tested negative for COVID-19.


According to a source in the hospital, the arrested people have been found misusing their position and involved in corruption also. ”Further investigation into the case is underway,” said SP Om Rana at District Police Office, Banke.
