KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in gang raping a woman in a quarantine facility in Kailali district on Saturday.

A team of police from the Area Police Office, Lamki, arrested a medic and two volunteers for their alleged involved in raping the 31-year-old female at Sahid Smriti School in Lamkichuha Municipality-1.

The arrested have been identified as Kishor Pariyar, 22, a medic at the quarantine facility, and volunteers Laxman BK, 20, and Sarjan BK, 18.

According to police, it is interrogating the arrested, and investigating the case.
