The Teacher

The Teacher

He was so very frightening
He stared at me, his fist tightening
In silence rage was growing inside him
His fist flew open, his hand swung
His jaws clenched, he then sprung
Crashed in my face, like a bolt of lightning
An evil smile crept over his face, he was delighting

I looked at him scornfully
My heart beating wildly
He looked at me woefully
Guilt growing inside him

The windows flung open
In came the dreary wind
Brushed my feeble heart, broken
My shoulders now shivered
Down my eyes, streamed the river
The stiff and stony heart quivered
He flashed his hands against my neck
My throat was now pounding
With two thumbs, my throat he pressed
The world swimming around me
My lungs felt oppressed,
Screams in my head resounding
He pushed me back,
I gasped for breathe, inhaling
Swelling my bosom I looked at him, daring
His eyes bluntly staring, my spirits despairing

My face was twitching, eyes dry with tears
My knotted mind swishing, letting go of the fears
As the blares of the bell rang on our ears
Contorting his face he walked after an awful stare
My bosom now fell, I sank back on the chair
My chin fell on the desk, I covered my head
Clench my teeth, shut my eyes, wishing to be dead.
