Hoping I would stop

However, the creaking sound

Of the crib

Drives me insane

Eventually, I stop

Remain poised and laid back

She stops

lets the crib come to rest

in no time frowns her face

and change my sheets again

And as soon as she stares at me

Letting her dial couple more times

I know it has always been me

Making her frown her beautiful face

Sometimes with all those loud cries and screams

And sometimes with silence and pointless dreams

I can hear the sound; it is creaking

She stares at me with kindness and love

However, the bed is not wet

I hesitate to pick up her call
