The Lonesome Optimist

The Lonesome Optimist

Even while
Wandering the emptiest streets
Hustle and bustle would distract him,
Embracing the complete solitude
The crowd would frighten him
Something bizarre of this degree would happen
He’d never imagined.

So, he decided
To quit his world
Give up his company- the Solitude
Bare footed,
He commences the journey of never travelled wood
Following twinkling bitches,
Asking mercy,
Trying to convince heedless almighty.

His tiniest hand would ask
What lies within your grasp?
Nothing, would always be the answer
Yet, he dares
Dares to make conquest,
The conquest of farthest infinity
Even, if , it takes aeons
he’d embrace with a wide smile- the Lonesome Optimist.
