The fat man's repentance

The fat man's repentance

They say fat men are funny

And I am the fat man

And single

Because everybody likes joker

But nobody loves

My futile attempt to make a love

Rarely makes them think twice

The extra flesh in my body

A subject of derision

Disillusioned by the convulsive laughter

My assertions are the jokes

They would love to quote

Not with affection, but with pride

Pride to make the fat man funnier
