KATHMANDU, May 31: Metmani Chaudhary, a member of parliament (MP) from the ruling CPN (Unified Socialist), has said that the new budget unveiled by the government is satisfactory.
Lawmaker Chaudhary claimed that the budget is satisfactory as it covers all sectors of Nepali society.
While taking part in the discussion on the annual budget for the coming fiscal year in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday, Chaudhary said that the budget is in line with the government's policy and program.
MP Chaudhary said, "The budget is satisfactory. I would like to thank the Finance Minister for bringing the budget based on the composition of the Nepali society. The budget is in line with the policy and programs of the government. Overall, I feel the budget emphasizes productivity, sustainability and inclusion. That is why the budget is very important.”
“The issue of job creation and poverty alleviation has also been raised in the budget with due importance. The budget also mentions development of human resources, infrastructure development and capital formation, hydropower generation, expansion of transmission lines and rural electrification. The budget covers all sectors of Nepali society,” he added.
Chaudhary also said that the budget includes the issue of making the country prosperous by developing necessary infrastructures and building capital.
