Thapa elected as ANFA president yet again

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Ganesh Thapa has been unanimously elected as the president of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) for a consecutive sixth term on Thursday.



The one-day electoral general assembly of the ANFA held in the capital on Thursday elected a 16-member executive committee. [break]



Similarly, the general assembly has also nominated Kalpana Piya Shrestha as the sole female member in accordance with the ANFA statute.



Altogether 22 aspirants had filed candidacies for four vice-presidents and 37 for 11 members of the 16-member body.
