KATHMANDU, July 27: The Mahanth Thakur-led faction will not be participating in the Central Executive Committee meeting of the Janata Samajwadi party (JSP).
According to Thakur-led faction leader Laxman Lal Karna, they are holding internal discussions to go to the Supreme Court against the decision of the Election Commission (EC).
The Thakur-led faction has made it clear that they will not join the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government. “We have supported the government but will not join it. We are still in the opposition,” MP Karna informed Republica. “We will not be taking part in the government,” he added.
