KATHMANDU, May 17: Himalaya Expedition is to organize the 17th edition of the 'Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon' from May 29. At a news conference organized in the capital on Thursday, it was informed that the marathon would begin from the base camp of Mt Everest and conclude after reaching Namche Bazaar.

More than 200 athletes including 155 foreigners will participate in the marathon. The athletes will compete in a 42.195-km marathon, 60-km ultramarathon and 21-km half marathon, said founder of the Himalaya Expedition, Bikram Pandekaji.
