Tendi, Moti off to winning starts

KATHMANDU, Oct 18: Tendi Wachhung Sherpa and Moti Tamang emerged victorious in the first day of Nepal Open Snooker Tournament on Tuesday. 

In the matches held at National Sports Council (NSC)'s covered hall Tripureshwar, Tendi and Moti defeated Miken Maharjan and Mahesh Ranjit respectively with similar scoreline of 3-0. 

Similarly, Kunga Lama overcame Kshitij Prajapati 3-1and Samundra Lama saw off Bikash Swarnakar 3-2. Saroj Gautam defeated Khilraj Gurung 3-0, Bishal Thakur beat Reman Shrestha 3-0 while Kishan Pun registered 3-0 win over Renjen Lama. Likwise, Bijay Thapa and Manoj Nepali beat Tenjing Sherpa and Nurbu Sherpa 'B' 3-0 and 3-1 respectively.
