KATHMANDU, Aug 23: As the BIMSTEC meeting is just a week away, several road sections of the capital are being repaired and maintained. However, even the temporary maintenances of the road could not get it final touch due to the ongoing monsoon rain.
Similar scene was seen in Putalisadak area on Thursday. Laborers from the road department were busy repairing the footpath and drainage. Some of them were painting the divider lines and zebra crossing. However, the heavy downpour in the area spoilt the job and resulted worst condition.
