Teenager ‘strangled to death'

MAHOTTARI, Nov 6: A 16-year-old youth has been found dead at a paddy field of Balawa Municipality-11 in the district. The deceased has been identified as Sorgath Mahato of Loharpati Municipality-7.

With the mark on the neck of the deceased and his mouth and nose bleeding, it could be inferred that he was strangled to death, according to SP Kuber Kadayat of Mahottari district.

“The deceased’s neck bears a strangulation mark while mouth and nose are bleeding due to a heavy punch. Bruises could be seen all over his body, said SP Kadayet.

Kadayet said that investigation has been lunched after taking two suspects under control.
