DOTI, Aug 4: A teenager was shot dead in a firing that reportedly took place while trying to chase away wild animals. The incident took place in Tallo Dandaban of Adarsha rural municipality-5.
According to the District Police Office, Doti, the deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Tapesh Luhar. Junge Bhul,50, of the ward no. 5 in the municipality, shot the fire.
The incident took place at around 10:45 pm on Saturday night with Tapesh succumbed to bullet injuries on his head, said DSP Lal Bahadur Dhami. Junge Bhul has been arrested along with the home-made pistol used in the incident for necessary action. An investigation is underway.
