KATHMANDU, April 4: The talks between the government and the protesting teachers have become uncertain. The uncertainty arose after the teachers decided not to attend the meeting called by Acting Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh.

Acting Prime Minister Singh had scheduled the meeting for 3 pm Friday. However, the teachers have insisted on only holding talks with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. PM Oli, on the other hand, is currently in Thailand attending the BIMSTEC Summit.
