LOS ANGELES: The much-publicized relationship of singer Taylor Swift and actor Tom Hiddleston has reportedly hit a rough patch with the "Thor" star rumored to be fed up of being a "laughing stock".
Since the couple made it official in June, there have been endless rumors and theories about their relationship mainly due to its timing-- it came just two weeks after Swift broke up with DJ Calvin Harris.
While some speculated the pop star had begun dating the actor while she was with Harris, to a few it looked like their affair was staged as they looked "too much in love too soon."
Hiddleston, 35, is not liking the immense attention on his personal life does not want to be Swift's arm candy anymore, reported Radar Online.
"Tom can't deal with being a laughing stock and has told Taylor he's done unless there's a 360-degree change on her part," an insider said.
"It's become a total charade... Tom is just done with it. It bothers him so much that they've become known as this fauxmance laughing stock," the source said.
26-year-old Swift, meanwhile, thinks the actor is "lucky" to have with her.
"Tom's new strong approach has infuriated Taylor, who is complaining to friends that he's gotten so much free press thanks to her. The prognosis for these two lasting is not looking so good," the insider added.
In early August, Tom chose to travel alone to Australia, where he's been filming "Thor: Ragnarok", because he was reportedly fed up with Swift's "possessive" behavior and her fear of being cheated on.
