KATHMANDU, Dec 19:  Tara Air has submitted a preliminary investigation report to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) concerning the incident involving the fall of the aircraft's glass panel of the emergency door during takeoff. According to the company's report, the glass panel of Tara Air's emergency door, en route to Lukla, detached after departing from the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Gyanendra Bhul, the information officer of CAAN, stated that the glass panel had fallen due to a failure in properly securing the luggage. "While taking off from Runway 02, it was observed that the glass panel fell onto vacant land near Gothatar, close to Krishna Temple. Investigation revealed that the cargo was not adequately loaded," Bhul explained. Additionally, it was noted that the pilot was unaware of the detachment of the glass panel on the right side.
