KASKI, Jan 27:  Tangting-Yangjakot is the perfect destination for tourists. It explores the unspoiled area of Himalaya of Nepal. It is known as the heartland of the Gurungs, one of Nepal’s major ethnic groups.

One can view the culture civilization on the hilltop villages, locally produced handicrafts and utensils and an agrarian way of life that has changed little over the centuries. The place is best for trekking routes through Yangjakot, Tangting and Sikles villages which are larger and rich for tradition and culture in Kaski.

Tara Hill is best view point of this route, along the thick rhododendron forest path to Ghalekharka from Sikles. We can see the whole Annapurna mountain range from Tara hilltop.
