KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Nepal suffered a narrow defeat to Oman by five runs in the final group game of the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier at the TU Cricket Ground on Thursday.
This places Nepal in second position in the group, requiring them to compete in the semi-final at Mulpani Cricket Ground on Friday.

Despite a strong start in bowling, Oman managed to post a respectable 145 runs. Karan KC took three wickets, while Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane got two each. Nepal's batting struggled, ultimately falling short at 140, with Bibek Yadav's late hitting nearly turning the game around.
Nepal now faces UAE in the crucial semi-final for a shot at the T20 World Cup.
