MAHOTTARI, Jan 20: Swiss Ambassador to Nepal, Jörg Frieden, on Thursday visited various places in Mahottari district. 

He observed the technology run by the locals of Gaushala Municipality through which oil is extracted from Eucalyptus leaves. 

The ambassador made onsite visit of the technology used by Anjani Kumar Bachara of Gaushala Municipality – 10 to extract oil from the leaves. The scented oil is used to make soap and also as medicine. 

After observing the technology at Anjani's house, Ambassador Frieden remarked that running businesses in the Nepali people's houses heralded a possibility of an economic revolution in Nepal. 

Earlier in the morning, the Swiss envoy had inspected the under construction Kantawan bridge in Sundarpur. RSS
