POKHARA, May 27: Suspicious objects were found at three separate places in Pokhara this morning.
One such object was detected near the Ncell office between Srijanachok and Phirkechok, another one close to a party palace at Durbarmarg and the next one on the road pavement at Nareshwar Chowk, Deputy Superintendent and spokesman of the District Police Office, Rabindraman Gurung, said.

Police have cordoned off these places.
Meanwhile, the country-wide general shutdown called by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) Group has affected normal life in Pokhara. Public transport vehicles have stayed off the roads since the morning and the educational institutions are also closed. Tea shops are open while the big commercial stores in the market are shut.
No untoward incident has been reported in the Kaski district so far in course of the shutdown, the District Police Office, Kaski stated.
