Suspicious object found in front of the house of UML Jhapa Chair Karki

JHAPA, June 24: A suspicious object has been found at the entrance of the house of CPN-UML Jhapa Chairman Deepak Karki at Gauradaha Municipality-3.

Chairman Karki said that he informed the police after seeing a pressure cooker connected to the wire in front of the entrance at around 5:30 this morning. Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Giri of Area Police Office in Damak informed that a team of Nepal Army personnel has been called to dispose of the suspicious item.

DSP Giri said an investigation is currently underway to trace those behind the incident.
