KATHMANDU, Feb 20: A suspicious object has been found at Tinkune in front of Neupane Tower on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off that a bomb-like object was planted in front of the tower, a bomb disposal team from Nepal Army reached the spot and confirmed that there was no any bomb, informed Rabi Kumar Paudel Deputy Superintendent of Police, Baneshwar.
He said, 'There was only timer in the sack."
Movement of transport vehicles plying via was diverted through corridor for a hour following the incident. Who placed this object is yet to be ascertained.
