Survivors Nepal holds second AGM

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: The Survivors Nepal held its second Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday at Patan Museum, Lalitpur.

During the AGM, display of photos showcasing the efforts put together by Survivors in the reconstruction of five schools of different VDCs of Sindhupalchowk and also the contribution made to the immediate relief programs through general health camp to strengthen the victims’ self-confidence at the VDCs of Sindhupalchowk and Dolakha was held.

A panel of executive members to be led by Sushil Koirala was also formed during the event. The team shall consist of Nirakar Shrestha as Vice President, Prof. Dr. Sanjib Prasad Pandey as Secretary, Ramchandra Lohani as Treasurer, Rajendra Dangol, Sadish Shrestha and Babita Sedai shall be the executive committee members for the coming tenure.

With a commitment of contributing to the reconstruction of schools in a more effective way and help to improve the general health situation, Survivors has also formed a committee of advisors. 

The committee shall have Health Minister, Gagan Kumar Thapa, Ex-minister Dr. Ganesh Shah, Businessman, Anjan Shrestha, Col. Puran Ghale and Human rights activists, Uttam Pudasaini as the panel of advisors. 

Likewise, Anil Thapa from Denmark, Dr. Pujan Rai from Singapore,  Pramila Neupane from Japan, Saroj Bhandari from USA, Hari Krishna Jaiswal from UK, Dr. Rajan Ghale from Australia and Dr. Sujan Koirala from Germany shall be the global council members.
