KATHMANDU, April 10: Surkhet Education Campus and Saraswati Campus have advanced to the second round of the ongoing Vice Chancellor Inter Campus Volleyball Tournament with wins over Pashupati Multiple Campus and Tri-chandra Campus respectively on Monday.

At the court of Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus (RR), Surkhet beat Pashupati 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 26-24, while Saraswati defeated Tri-chandra 25-22, 25-23, 25-20. In the other matches played on the same day, Public Youth College saw off Koteshwor Campus 25-13, 25-19, 25-20 to reach the second round. Likewise, Jaya Multiple Campus overcame Kailali Multiple Campus 20-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-21, 15-8.

The tournament, which is being played in knockout format, features 19 teams from Kathmandu and three from outside the valley. The tournament will conclude on April 19.
