KATHMANDU, Aug 2: A group called Shahi Yuwa Shakti Nepal has launched a signature campaign calling for the restoration of the monarchy in Nepal.

The group argued that the country needs a permanent national guardian and claimed that the monarchy is the only viable option.
Actor Manisha Koirala also signed the campaign. Koirala has previously expressed support for the monarchy at various public events, stating that the country should not be without a king.
