KATHMANDU, Nov 16: The Rastriya Janamukti Party has announced withdrawal of its support to the present government, citing its failure to work as per its commitments.

Speaking at a press meet held here on Wednesday, Chairperson of the Party Khadga Prasad Palunga said the present government too continued the trend of the previous government of not being able to work as per the expectations. Palunga also referred to the 26-point memo registered at the Office of the Prime Minister including formation of provisions based on identity and viability, residual rights to the provinces, allowance for the unemployed, and guaranteeing the identity of the indigenous, Dalit, madhesi and women, among others.

Also the party has demanded that the ongoing practice of doling out millions in the name of medical treatment of the VIP and VVIPs should come to an end while the rising black marketeering and inflation should be checked. RSS
