After the Supreme Court's decision revived the CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Center) Party, the Sudurpaschim Provincial Government was transformed into a coalition government of the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Center). Due to the support of the Nepal-Khanal faction, the Maoist-led government headed by Chief Minister Bhatt, which has only 13 members of Parliaments, has survived so far.
