Jointly organized by SR Group of Institutions and Republica Daily, the workshop intended to make youth believe in the power of dreaming. Interacting with the audience about motivation and success, Bhagat also talked about his ‘unplanned’ leap from his banking career into becoming a full-time writer and motivational speaker. He encouraged the audience to aim high and not be bound by the limits set by society in the name of gender, caste, creed and color. “The greatest obstacle on your path to success is your own attitude towards it. If you think you can, you already are half way there,” he said. [break]
One of the attendees, Bibhuti Shah, 10, from Nightingale School was more than excited to see Bhagat live, but was slightly disheartened when she couldn’t get her books signed by the author. “But I am so inspired by him and will continue loving him,” she quipped.
Ganga Tuladhar, former education minister, was the chief guest at the workshop.
