KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Today is the first memorial day of the Constituent Assembly Chairperson and the then vice-chairperson of the CPN-UML, Subash Chandra Nembang.
A memorial meet will be held at the CPN-UML office at Chyasal in Lalitpur this afternoon to commemorate the departed leader.

UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the memorial meet, according to the Prime Minister's private secretariat.
UML central office secretary Bhishma Adhikari said other senior leaders of the party would also participate in the memorial meeting.
Nembang was elected as a National Assembly member in 2048 and 2051 BS and won parliamentary elections in 2056, 2074 and 2079 BS and Constituent Assembly elections in 2064 and 2070 BS from Ilam.
