Sub-committees formed to observe National Education Day

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Ten sub-committees have been formed to observe the 40th National Education Day and the International Literacy Day on coming September 8.

Prior to this, the main celebration committee was constituted under the chair of Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giri Rajmani Pokhrel.

A meeting of the main committee took place today at the Singha Durbar formed several sub-bodies as it sought to make the celebration a grand success. Besides, the State governments, subordinate offices, and local levels have been asked to contribute to making the celebration successful, Officer at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, Krishna Prasad Kapri said.
