KATHMANDU, May 4: Agitating joint student unions on Friday demonstrated against school fee hike charged by private schools by blowing whistles in front of local government offices across the nation.
By utilizing the powers as provided by the law, local units must take action against those institutions and schools that are charging exorbitant fees.
“The government is not paying heed to our demand thus a whistle rally has been organized to awake the government,” said RC Lamichhane, secretary of All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU). He further said," We will continue our pretest at different levels unless the decision to hike fee is withdrawn. "
Earlier, students union had padlocked all the PABSON and N-PABSON offices in the country.
