Student organizations demand medical college administration officials be arrested

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Seven different student organizations issued a public statement regarding “the fact that three medical colleges have charged higher fees than stated by the government.”


The student unions have released a statement claiming that Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal, Nobel Medical College, Morang and Manipal Medical College, Kaski, have charged higher fees than stated by the government and Novel Medical College has even threatened the students to pay the fees in time.

The statement issued by the seven student organizations said, "The college administrators should be arrested immediately and legal action should be taken against them and the safety of the students guaranteed.”


In the statement issued by the Nepal Student Union, ANNISU (Revolutionary), ANNFSU and other student organizations, they have also accused the colleges of placing thugs in the guise of security guards.
