Student mural art at Kanjirowa National School

KATHMANDU,Dec 14: Mural arts and other art works painted on the premises of Kanjirowa National School were inaugurated on Friday.



The mural arts and other art works were prepared by the students of Kanjirowa under the supervision of Edward Cuenco, associate professor from Angelo State University, Texas, USA.



 “The efforts of the school is not only limited to education but also extends in art and culture and country needs such educational institution to promote Nepali art, culture and tourism,” said Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.



“The project was carried out in collaboration with the Fulbright office to promote US-Nepal art and culture and to enhance mutual cooperation between two countries in educating students through art and culture,” said Kapil Dev Regmi, the executive director of the school.



The art exhibition concluded on December 11, Sunday.
