DHANUSHA, April 28: Strong winds along with heavy rainfall damaged properties worth millions in Dhanusha on Sunday morning.
At least 48 houses were damaged in Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-1, officials said. Hundreds of chickens died after a poultry firm collapsed due to strong winds in the same area.
The strong winds also caused massive damage to stand wheat crops in various parts of the district. Several villages including Nagarain and Hansapur were affected due to the strong winds along with heavy rainfall today morning.
