KATHMANDU, May10: Aircraft approaching the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) are facing problems in landing due to strong gusts of wind at the airport.
According to the airport administration, airplanes are facing problems in the landing due to the wind blowing faster than normal to the south of the airport.

"At present, aircraft have not been able to land due to the wind coming from the south. The wind is blowing faster than normal. Due to this, five aircraft are in the holding pattern in the sky," TIA spokesperson Teknath Sitaula said.
After not being able to land at TIA, five aircraft that came to Kathmandu from New Delhi, Doha and other destinations are flying in the sky above the southern parts of Lalitpur.
