STC to distribute 25 percent dividend to its shareholders

KATHMANDU, Oct 3: Salt Trading Corporation (STC) has summoned its 54th annual general meeting (AGM) on November 2. The AGM is expected to approve the proposed decision to provide a 25 percent dividend to its shareholders.

The state-owned enterprise has proposed 20 percent bonus shares and a five percent cash dividend for tax purposes from its profits of the fiscal year 2019/20. It has sought to pass the proposal through the next AGM.
